PravdaFest 40

I managed social media for PravdaFest, which took taking place August 31, 2024 at FITZGERALDS. The festival celebrates 40 years of Pravda Music, one of the longest running independent records labels in Chicago. 

Natural Awakenings Magazine

I’m a staff writer for both the national and Chicago markets of Natural Awakenings, a magazine dedicated to sustainable living and holistic wellness. Recent subjects include cultivating a shoshin mindset, music for memory,  and seasonal eating.

I'm a freelance writer with Nande, a itinerary-based neighborhood guide to Chicago. I'm also the editor for the Parents Guide. Recent guides include Maggie Daley Park, exploring Chicago's Riverwalk, and Kayaking & Margie's Candies. 

My Foster Tree

I'm chronicling this tree, at Foster & the lakefront in Chicago, every day this year. I'm fascinated by the daily changes in the water, sky, and foliage. See more at @MyFosterTree

Backyard Concerts

In the summer of 2020, I initiated a backyard concert series as a way to safely see friends and support local musicians during COVID. I've since curated over 20 concerts, from jazz quartets to 80s cover bands
